  • 1/2 lb spaghetti
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (15 ounce) container cottage cheese
  • 3/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh romano cheese, grated
  • 1 # ground chuck or italian sausage or combination of both
  • 3 -4 cups marinara sauce

Step 1

1 Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. 2 Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 3 Grease 9-inch glass pie plate. 4 In large bowl, with fork, beat eggs. 5 Stir ricotta and Parmesan cheese until blended. 6 Add spaghetti to ricotta mixture and stir until well coated. 7 Transfer spaghetti mixture to prepared pie plate; top with marinara sauce. 8 Sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Romano cheese. 9 Bake pie 25 minutes. 10 Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes for easier serving. 11 Cut into wedges to serve.
