Ingredients
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tsps evoo
- 2 medium onions finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 lb kielbasa sausage,thinly sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 cups great northern beans or canneli beans
- 1 1/2 cups chicken, diced
- 1 1/2 tsp chopped thyme or 1/2 tsp dried
- 1/4 tsp salt
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 350 degrees. spread breadcrumbs on a bking sheet and bake until crisp and golden, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes; set aside
meanwhile heat oil in a 4-6 qt. dutch oven over medium heat. add onions, carrots, garlic, cook, stirring often, until just beginning to color, about 5 minutes. add the sausage and cook, stirring, until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes. add the tomatoes, broth , wine, beans, chicken ,thyme,salt and pepper; bring to a simmer.
sprinkle tpasted breadcrumbs over the top and transfer pot to the oven. bake until browned and bubbling, 25 - 35 minutes. sprinkle with parsley and serve.
