Ingredients

• 1 cup butter (softened)
• 1 cup butter flavored Crisco
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 jumbo eggs
• 2 teaspoon vanilla
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 4 cups and 4 tbsp flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven @ 350 degrees.

Cream sugars with butter and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add salt, cream of tartar, baking soda; mix. Add flour and mix well.

Using a medium cookie scoop, drop cookies in a bowl of sugar and roll to coat. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool for several minutes on cookie sheet, remove and cool completely on counter.
