Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 5 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 pkgs yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup marg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • if desired, use the combination of flours: 2 cup bread flour, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • powdered sugar, milk, almond extract and vanilla

Step 1

combine ingredients in breadmake bowl. Use the dough setting to cominge and 1st raise. Remove dough to a floured surface. Punch down. seperate into 12 balls. roll balls of dough into a rope about 12 inches long. cut off 3 1" pieces ( 1 for tail, 2 for ears) 1 3" piece ( for head) and the remaine\ing 6" piece for body. form bunnies by coiling the 6" piece(body) and 3" piece(head) next to each other. Add ears to top of head coil and tail next to body piece on greased cookie sheet. Repeat for remaining balls of dough. cover and let raise until double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minute. Brush with powdered sugar glaze while still warm.
