GREEN BEANS WITH WATER CHESTNUTS & GINGER

Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tbsp thinly sliced green onions
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 cup drained, sliced water chestnuts,
- Pince of crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil

Step 1
Trim green beans and cut into 2" pieces. Bring a medium pot of well-salted water to a boil over high heat and cook the beans until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes; drain and cool under cold running water.
Heat canola oil in a 12" skillet over medium-high heat. Add green onions, garlic and ginger; cook, stirring occasionally, until the garlic begins to brown, about 1 minute. Add water chestnuts, red pepper flakes and the beans and cook until warmed through, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, add soy sauce and sesame oil, toss and serve.
