Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup English Toffee bits
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, stirring together well. Add to the butter mixture, beating at low speed until just blended. Stir in English Toffee bits, chocolate chunks, and chocolate chips.

Drop dough by heaping tablespoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks to cool. Yields 4 1/2 dozen.
