Beef Stew

My friend Nancy Brammer, gave this recipe to me and we enjoy it often in the winter.

Ingredients

  • c. of each of following:
  • 2 lb. stew beef (raw)
  • carrots (I add more)
  • celery
  • onions
  • potatoes (I add more)
  • 2 Tbls. Minute Tapicoa
  • 1 teas. sugar and salt
  • 1 can V8 juice or tomato juice (11 oz. can)
  • Can use 2 cans so it has lots of liquid.

Preparation

Step 1

Layer meat (uncooked) and all vegetables. Sprinkle on sugar and salt and V8 juice. Cook at 250 for 5 hours. DO NOT remove lid. It is delicious!!!!!
