Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries and/or banana
  • 1 package (4 serving size) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 ripe banana, cut up
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange strawberry and/or banana slices in bottoms of 6 muffin cups. Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water in medium bowl. Stir in cold water. Spoon 3 tablespoons of gelatin into each muffin cup. Refrigerate until set but not firm.

Place remaining gelatin and banana in blender container, cover. Blend on high speed 1 minute. Add 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping; cover. Blend until well mixed. Spoon over clear gelatin.

Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. To unmold, run small metal spatula around edge of each muffin cup. Dip in pan into warm water, just to rim, for about 10 seconds. Place moistened try on top of pan. Invert; holding pan and tray together, shake slightly to loosen. Gently remove pan. Place desserts on individual serving plates. Garnish with remaining whipped topping.
