Ingredients
- 1 9 inch partially baked pie shell
- 4 tbs unsalted butter - room temperature
- 2 cups thinly sliced Vidalia onions
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 6 oz grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- paprika
- chopped parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in heavy skillet and add onions. Saute until tender. Arrange onions in pie crust. Beat milk, eggs and salt in medium bowl. Season with pepper. Sprinkle cheese over onions. Pour egg mixture over onions and cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake on 350° for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Garnish with parsley.
