Ingredients
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 14 ounces water (1 condensed milk can)
- 1 13 ounce can evaporated milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 rounded tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- ground cinnamon (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine the condensed milk, water, evaporated milk and egg yolks in a sauce pan.
2. In a cup mix the cornstarch with 3 tbsp water to form a smooth paste and add to the mixture.
3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a whisk and cook until the mixture begins to thicken and is difficult to stir.
4. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and butter.
5. Pour into small cups, ramekins or a souffle dish.
6. Optional. Sprinkle with cinnamon and refrigerate until ready to serve.
