Ingredients
- 2 Sticks Butter or Margarine (softened)
- 1/2 Cup Crisco
- 3 Cup Sugar
- 5 Large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 Cup Cake Flour (sifted)
- 1/2 Cup Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 1/4 Cup Milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a bundt pan. Cream crisco and butter well. Add sugar 1 cup at a time. Add vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Alternating, add flour mixture and milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Beat well. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 5-10 minutes before removing from pan. Can be iced with favorite frosting.
