Ingredients
- 2 pounds venison or lean beef stew meat (cut in 1-inch cubes)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sherry
- 1 medium clove garlic, minced
- 2 cans (10 1/2 ounce each) condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
- 1/2 cup water
- Cooked noodles or rice (I like to use brown rice)

Preparation
Step 1
In skillet, brown meat in butter. Add remaining ingredients (except noodles or rice). Cover and cook over low heat 2 hours or until tender, stirring now and then. Serve over noodles or rice.
