Ingredients
- 12 oz. cream cheese
- 10 T. softened unsalted butter
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 pkg fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 t. dried thyme
- salt & pepper to taste

Step 1
Saute' onions in butter until golden brown.
Mill the mushrooms in food processor until they are the size of popcorn kernels.
Add the mushrooms to the onions and cook until all the liquid has evaporated and the mushrooms are dark.
Add cream cheese, melt and mix together.
Stir in thyme, pepper, and salt to taste.
