cake box mix of choice
vanilla frosting
Milano cookies
Pirouette cookies
food coloring
various sprinkles and other decorating items

Preparation

Step 1

Make cupcakes according to recipes on mix.

Once they are cool, frost each "pair" of cupcakes in different colors. Push one Milano cookie in at an angle to form the "sole" of the shoe. Cut the Pirouette cookie to the desired length, with one end at an angle. Using frosting (or melted chocolate), attach the angled end to the Milano cookie to create the heel. You should add some frosting the the other end to keep it from sliding as it sets. Decorate as desired.
