  • 4-6 yellow squash (sliced 1/4 inch thick)
  • 5 slices of bacon (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Step 1

In large skillet, fry bacon pieces over medium-high heat until crisp. Add squash slices. Stir to coat in bacon oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Add water and spices. Cover. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until squash is tender.
