Ingredients
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup ( 1/2 stick) butter flavor crisco ( or regular crisco) all-vegetable shortening
- 1-1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 large egg
- 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda

Step 1
STEPS: 1. preheat oven to 375 F
2.combine Jif,crisco,light brown sugar,milk and vanilla in
a large bowl. beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until
well blended. add egg.beat just until blended
3.combine flour,salt and baking soda. add to creamed
mixture at LOW speed just until blended.
4. drop by heaping tablespoons two inches apart onto ungreased
baking sheet. flaten slightly in criss-cross patteren with tines of a fork.
5.bake one baking sheet at a time at 375 F for 7-8 minutes.
