  • 2 cups Sugar, 2/3 cup Petevaporated milk, 16 large marshmallows, 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 cup (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

1. Combine sugar, Pet evaporated milk, and marshmallows. Cook and stir until marshmallows and sugar melt. When bubbles cover the entire top surface, boil and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes.
2. Remove from heat. Beat in butter, salt, chocolate pieces and vanilla until chocolate melts. Spread into buttered 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm. Makes 64 squares fudge.
