Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. shortening (bacon grease)
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion lakes
  • 6 pieces of cooked crisp bacon crumbled
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 1 t. pepper
  • 1 1/3 c. rice

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve boullion in hot water and add. Add tomato sauce, sugar, pepper, and rice, cover and remove from heat.
Put crumbled bacon on top.
