Ingredients

  • 1

    cup brown sugar

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 2

    sticks of softened butter

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla

  • 1

    egg yoke

  • 1

    large bag of chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 Combine the flour & sugar. Mix in the vanilla and the butter add the egg yoke. Mix all ingredients together until you have a well blended cookie dough. Grease a jelly pan and spread the dough from one corner to another. Make sure the dough is spread out evenly. Bake for app. 20-25 minutes. The cookie should be a light brown and feel baked when touched. Remove the jelly pan from the oven and spread chocolate chips over the cookie. Put back in the oven for a minute to melt the chips. Spread the melting chips over the cookie. Sometimes you need to put the cookie back in the oven for another minutes or two to melt the chips. Remove. To harden and set the chocolate put the cookie into the refrigerator, freezer or outside if it is cold. OPTIONS After you melt the chips sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the hot melting chocolate chips. You can use chopped candy canes, peanuts, nuts, cranberries, or anything else you can think of. Freezes really well. Enjoy
