Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened 250 mL
- 1 cup packed brown sugar 250 mL
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar 125 mL
- 2 eggs 2
- 2 1/4 cups Robin Hood All Purpose Flour 550 mL
- 1 tsp baking soda 5 mL
- 1/2 tsp salt 2 mL
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans 250 mL
- 2 cups semi-sweet Chocolate Chips 500 mL

Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 375 degree F (190 degree C). Grease a 13" x 9" (33 cm x 23 cm) cake pan. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and eggs together until creamy. Add flour, baking soda, salt and nuts. Mix well. Spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top.
BAKE in centre of 375 degree F (190 degree C) oven for 2-3 minutes or until chips are soft and shiny. Run knife through batter to marble. Bake 20-25 minutes longer, or until set. Cool in pan on rack then cut into squares.
