Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon margarine; melted
  • 4 cups French bread slices; cubed
  • 2 cups apples; cored
  • 1/4 cup raisin
  • 1/4 cup walnuts; chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 3/4 cup eggbeaters

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle margarine over bread cubes; mix well. Add apples, raisins, and
walnuts; turn into 1-1/2 quart baking dish. In medium bowl, beat together
remaining ingredients; pour over bread. Place baking dish in pan with 1
inch of hot water and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 °F,
until tip of knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or
chilled.
