Ingredients
- 3-4 lb. chuck roast
- 1 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 T. veg. oil
- 2 lbs. yukon gold potatoes
- Onions, mushrooms - quartered
- 1 lb. baby carrots
- 2 cans French Onion Soup
- 1 T. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dijon mustard
- 3/4 tube tomato paste

Preparation
Step 1
Rub roast with pepper & garlic powder. Brown in oil over med-high heat until brown on both sides. Place in crockpot.
Arrange vegetables around roast. Combine soup & remaining ingredients and stir with whisk. Pour over roast and vegetables.
Cover and cook on high 1 hr.; reduce heat & cook on low 8-9 hrs.
