Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 T. veg. oil
  • 2 lbs. yukon gold potatoes
  • Onions, mushrooms - quartered
  • 1 lb. baby carrots
  • 2 cans French Onion Soup
  • 1 T. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 3/4 tube tomato paste

Preparation

Step 1

Rub roast with pepper & garlic powder. Brown in oil over med-high heat until brown on both sides. Place in crockpot.

Arrange vegetables around roast. Combine soup & remaining ingredients and stir with whisk. Pour over roast and vegetables.

Cover and cook on high 1 hr.; reduce heat & cook on low 8-9 hrs.
