Cowboy Macaroni and Cheese 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 3 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 (10-3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 cups Cheddar cheese, divided
  • Optional: 4 hot dogs, diced
  • 2 cups French fried onions, divided

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni, according to package directions; drain and set aside. Blend soup, milk, mustard and pepper; stir in cooked macaroni, hot dogs if using and 2 cups of cheese. Sprinkle with half the onions and mix well.

Transfer to a 13x9 inch baking pan sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray. Cover; bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven; top with remaining cheese and onions. Serves 6-8.
