Ingredients
- 1 pound brioche or challah
- 5 cup milk
- 8.8 ounce custard dessert mix
- 1/3 cup dark rum
- 2 egg yolks; beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg; ground
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces; lightly toasted
- 1/4 cup pecan pieces; lightly toasted
- 1/2 cup golden raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat overn to 350°F
Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Tear bread
into 1-inch pieces and place in dish.
In large bowl, combine milk, custard mix, rum, eggs, and nutmet. Whisk
until well blended. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour over bread, press down
lightly on bread to submerge into custard. Let stand for 10 minutes. Bake
for 50 minutes or until top is golden brown and bread pudding puffs. Serve
warm.
