- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 onion; sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon butter or margarine
- Salt and pepper to taste

Mix and simmer one hour on stove, stirring occasionally.
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Can make ahead and freeze.
