Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups (any combination of almonds, pecans, walnuts etc)
  • 1-1/4 cups Butter
  • 1 Cup Powdered sugar(plus 1/2 cup for dusting)
  • 1 cup (plus 1/2 cup for dusting)
  • 1 tbsp Rum extract

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F/180 C. Pulse the nuts in a food processor until they are a very fine powder.

Combine all the ingredients except the butter, extract and the sugar for dusting in a large bowl and mix well. Once mixed add the butter and extract and combine well.

Take a heaped teaspoon of dough and form into round balls. Place them on baking sheets and keep them in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours. If you only have one baking sheet use a plate for the second batch but roll them all at the same time.
