Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) jars macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup vanilla baking chips

Step 1

1.In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in nuts and chips. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
2.Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on pans for 1 minute before removing to wire racks; cool completely.
