Brisket Rub Recipe
By idocakes
Make a little or make a lot. This brisket rub recipe requires only five ingredients. You can use anything you like to measure with, since you need equal amounts of each ingredient. I use my trusty old coffee cup. Clean, of course!

Preparation
Step 1
For smaller briskets, use a quarter cup of each ingredient. If you have a really big one to smoke, pull out the one-third or half cup measuring cup.
Mix the ingredients well. I season the brisket twice. The first time I rub it in, and the second time I pack a layer on. Wrap the brisket in plastic wrap and let it bask in the rub overnight in the fridge before smoking.
