Peach Cobbler w/Crock Pot 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • crock pot for making cobbler.
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 1/4 2 mix ( or 3/4 cup self rising flour with 1/4 tsp salt and 2 tbsp oil)
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup brown sugar ( packed )
  • 2 2 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 2 2 eggs
  • 2 2 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 2 1/2 1/2 cups peeled, sliced peaches
  • 2 1/2 the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil( if using regular flour instead of baking mix), butter, vanilla extract, and mix well. Add 2 1/2 cup fresh sliced peaches ( can use thawed frozen peaches ) and stir until mixed.
  • 6-8 3-4 greased crock pot and cook 6-8 hrs on low or 3-4 hours on high. Serve warm with cream or vanilla ice cream.
  • to can also substitute splenda for the granulated sugar. ( My grandson is diabetic so when he is here I try to make things he likes without all the sugar)

1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar ( packed )
2 Tbsp melted butter
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 cups peeled, sliced peaches or canned




mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil( if using regular flour instead of baking mix), butter, vanilla extract, and mix well. Add 2 1/2 cup fresh sliced peaches ( can use thawed frozen peaches ) and stir until mixed.
pour into greased crock pot and cook 6-8 hrs on low or 3-4 hours on high. Serve warm with cream or vanilla ice cream.
I use the same recipe for blackberries in season except I use 4 cups of berries and 1 cup sugar instead of the brown sugar and I leave off the cinnamon. You can do the same with almost any kind of fruit. Just adjust the amount of sugar depending on how tart the fruit is and your taste. Cherries, apricots, plums, apples, figs, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries all make good cobbler.
You can also substitute splenda for the granulated sugar. ( My son is diabetic so when he is here I try to make things he likes without all the sugar)
