Cheesy Chicken Roll-Ups

- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 4 thin slices boiled or baked ham
- 10 T. garlic and herb cheese spread, divided
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup light cream or half-and-half
- Thin slices of Swiss or Muenster cheese can be substituted for garlic and herb cheese spread.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Place chicken breasts between sheets of waxed paper; pound to 1/4" thickness.
Place 1 ham slice on each piece of chicken; spread with 2 T. cheese spread. Roll chicken to enclose filling. Fold ends under and secure with toothpicks.
Dip chicken rolls into milk, then roll in bread crumbs to coat. Place rolls seam sides down on prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked through.
Bring cream to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat; remove from heat. Add remaining cheese spread; blend well. Place chicken on a serving platter; pour sauce over chicken rolls.
Make ahead:
Prepare the chicken rolls and secure with toothpicks 1 or 2 days ahead. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Remove and bake as recipe directs.
