Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 TBS milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 cup finely chopped red and green candied cherries
• 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
• 3/4 cup coconut

Preparation

Step 1

1. Beat butter in electric mixer on medium speed for 1/2 minute.
2. Add about 1/2 of flour, sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in remaining flour.
3. Fold in cherries and pecans
4. Shape into 2 - 8" logs and roll in coconut. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 2-24 hours.
5. Cut into 1/4" slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake in 375 degree oven 10-12" or until edges golden. Cool cookies on wire rack.
