Ingredients
- Peanut Butter Cupcakes
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- Peanut Butter Frosting
- 3 cups confectioner's sugar
- 3 tablespoons soft crisco
- 4-5 tablespoons peanut butter
- 6 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream together peanut butter, shortening, and vanilla.
2. Gradually add brown sugar, beating well after each egg.
3. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each egg.
4. Sift together dry ingredients adding alternately with milk.
5. Place paper cups in muffing pans and fill half full.
6. Bake in 375 degree oven. Bake about 20 minutes or until done.
Peanut Butter Icing
1. Mix ingredients thoroughly. If too stiff, add more milk one teaspoon at a time.
