Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Cornmeal
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 2 Green Tomatoes
- 2 + Tbsp. Bacon Drippings

Preparation
Step 1
Cut tomatoes into 1/4" slices.
Mix cornmeal and spices in a bowl.
Dip tomato slices in cornmeal mixture, coating both sides.
In a large skillet, heat bacon drippings.
Fry tomatoes a few at a time until golden and crisp on both sides.
Add more bacon drippings if needed.
