Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 T flour
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1/4 t paprika
  • 4 T butter
  • 3/4 C water
  • 1 t chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 t poultry seasoning
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 3/4 C mushrooms
  • 1/2 C carrots
  • 1/2 C celery
  • 1/2 C sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; dredge chicken in mixture

Melt 2T butter and brown chicken breasts.

Melt remaining butter and add flour mixture and water. Stir until smooth.

Stir in bouillon, seasonings, and vegetables (NOT SOUR CREAM). Add chicken, cover, and simmer 20-25 minutes.

Remove chicken and stir in sour cream.

Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
