Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 t. baking powder
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 t. baking soda

Step 1
Heat waffle iron to medium. Beat sugar and eggs in small mixer bowl on med. speed until thick and lemon colored. Beat in butter, then flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda, sifted together. Plate 1 t. of batter on greased waffle iron. Close iron and cook until set. Cool on wire racks. Spread with chocolate glaze: 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, ¼ c. cocoa, 2-3 T milk. Mix all ingredients together until of desired spreading consistency.
