Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soft margarine
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1-3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2-1/2 c. flour
  • 4 T cocoa
  • 1-1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. soda
  • 1/2 t. cloves
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together margarine, oil, and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Beat well with mixer. Add dry ingredients and beat well. Stir in 2 c. finely diced zucchini. Spoon batter into 9 x 12 x 12” baking pan. Sprinkle 1/4 to ½ c. chocolate chips on top. Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes. Needs no frosting.

(Add 1/2 T lemon juice to milk to sour.)
