Ingredients

  • 3 Haas Avacados, halved, seeded and peeled.
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 t kosher salt
  • 1/2 t ground cumin
  • 1/2 t cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 med onion, diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 T chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation

Step 1

1. in a large bowl place the scooped avacados and lime juice, toss to coat.

2. Drain and reserve the lime juice after all the avacado is coated.

3. Add salt, cayenne and cumin and mash with a potato masher.

4. Fold in the onions, tomatoes, cilantro and garlic.

5. Add 1 T of the reserved lime juice

6. Let sit at room temp for 60 min and serve.
