Ingredients
- First Layer:
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- Second Layer:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup canned milk (evaporated)
- 4 tbsp vanilla custard powder
- 4 cups icing sugar
- Third Layer:
- 8 squares (1 box) semi-sweet chocolate
- 5 tbsp butter

Preparation
Step 1
First Layer: Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, vanilla and cereals. Mix. Press into buttered 16 by 11 inch cookie sheet. Let cool.
Second Layer: Whip together with electric mixer until fluffy and spread over First Layer. Let cool.
Third Layer: Melt chocolate and butter together and spread evenly over top. Chill and cut in bars.
