Ingredients
- 9 medium oranges
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 (24 oz.) package chocolate almond bark, melted

Step 1
Peel oranges, leaving membrane on fruit. Cut peel into strips. Reserve orange sections for other uses. Place peel in medium saucepan, cover with water and cook 1 hour or until tender. Finely chop and measure enough orange peel to make 2 cups.
Combine 2 cups peel, sugar, 3/4 cup water, and butter in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches 200 degrees(mixture will be very thick). Remove orange mixture from heat and let cool. Shape into 3/4" balls. Place almond bark in top of double boiler, bring water to a boil. Reduce head to low, cool until melted. Dip orange balls in melted almond bark. Place on waxed paper to cool. Makes about 7 dozen.
