Ingredients

  • 300 ml 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 7 ml 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 ml 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ml 1/4 tsp salt
  • 375 ml 1 1/2 cups Cereals All-Bran Buds* cereal
  • 300 ml 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 50 ml 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 75 ml 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 125 ml 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, combine cereal and milk. Let stand for 2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add oil, molasses and egg. Beat well. Stir in raisins.

3. Add flour mixture, stirrings just until combined. Portion batter evenly
into 12 greased or paper-lined 6 cm (2 1/2") muffin-pan cups.

4. Bake at 200°C (400°F) 20-25 minutes or until firm to the touch.
