Ingredients
- 1/2 c soft butter or margarine
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 c pitted dates, chopped
- 1/2 c each candied cherries and pineapple
- 3/4 c coarsely chopped Brazil nuts, toasted
- 3/4 c chopped almonds, toasted

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and mix well.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add mixture to creamed butter and mix well.
Fold in fruits and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto greased baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on wire racks.
