Ingredients
- 7 large apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
- 1 Tblsp lemon juice
- 2 Tblsp white gran. sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 C each: all purpose flour, brown sugar, ground rolled oats (in food processor), cold butter
- 3 Tblsp fine ground roasted almonds (prepped in advance)

Preparation
Step 1
Set Oven to 350F
Prep apples and toss with lemon juice and set aside
Blend flour, brown sugar, fine ground rolled oats and almonds in mixing bowl
Take butter out of fridge and use serrated steak knife to thinly slice butter and crumble into pea-sized bits (quickly) into dry ingredients.
Mix butter into dry ingredients with hands, quickly until all dry ingredients are mixed with butter and mix is clumpy and moist (but not wet)
Toss apples with 2 Tblsp sugar and tsp cinnamon and spread evenly across 9x13 glass baking dish
Spread crumble topping evenly over apples.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350F.
