Ingredients
- 8 Tbsp. of Butter- 1 stick
- 1/2 cup of light brown sugar (or us 1/2 light and 1/2 dark)
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
Cook butter and brown sugar in a heavy medium size pan over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil (approximately 2 minutes.
Add the milk and bring mixture back to a boil.
Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar. Beat until smooth with a wooden spoon or mixer.
Spread right away on cake.
If it gets hard, add some more milk and whip it.
