Ingredients
- 2 [ View Metric ] 2 cups Macaroni - Elbow, dry
- 2 2 2 cups Non-Fat Half and Half
- 16 16 16 ounce Cheese Spread - Wal-Mart Great Value brand or Velveeta
- 4 4 4 tablespoon Butter
- to & pepper to taste
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese - shredded, optional
- 2 2 2 each White Bread Slices - optional
- Paprika for granish

- to elbow macaroni noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- Cut bread slices into small "crouton" size pieces. Scatter on top of mixture. (I am not sure why my mother put bread pieces on top, just that she did)
- 350 5 in preheated oven at 350 until bubbly, about one hour. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with paprika if desired.
- Note: Velveeta has twice the fat content as the Wal-Mart brand.
