  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tea. baking powder
  • 1/2 tea. baking soda
  • 1/2 tea. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • 12 oz. beer

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, mixing well.

In another medium bowl, combine the egg, oil, and molasses, mixing well. Add the egg mixture and the beer to the flour mixture, lightly mixing.

Heat a griddle to350 degrees. Spoon 2 Tbsp. batter onto the griddle, spreading the batter into a 3" circle with the back of the spoon. Heat each pancake until it is browned on one side and then flip and brown the other side.
