Mud Pie

Ingredients

• 1 8oz pkg chocolate wafers
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 pints coffe or mocha almond fudge ice cream
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 3 tbs butter
• 2/3 cup sugar + 2 tbs
• 1/3 cup whipping cream
• 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Crush wafers: mix with melted butter. Refrigerate until hard. Soften ice cream and pour into crust. Freeze 1 1/2 hours. Over medium high heat, cook sugar, whipping cream,3 tbs butter until mixture is smooth and boils. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool slightly and pour over ice cream. Freeze at least 1 hour.
