Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mixed Butter and Shortening
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/4-1/2 Tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 Tsp. Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter mixture, 1/2 cup sugar and egg. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; stir into sugar mixture alternatively with milk. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven. Roll tops in butter and remaining sugar and cinnamon.
