O.k., people, here is the long-held secret recipe for the best ever cinnamon rolls. I have never tasted any cinnamon rolls better than these. Anyone out there agree?

Ingredients

  • 5:00 5:00 PM: Knead and let rise again.
  • 9:00 9:00 PM: Punch down and form into buns.* Place in greased pans, cover with towel. Let sit on counter top overnight.
  • 350˚ 20-25 Bake at 350˚ for about 20-25 minutes.
  • 3 4 4 with 3 Tbls soft butter, 4 cups powdered sugar and 4 Tbls milk and drizzle all over the rolls.

I tasted these melt-in-your-mouth rolls after the birth of our first child. A seminary apartment neighbor brought a piping hot pan and I was “in love” with them immediately. I had to have the recipe. We later had “Bun Sweet Bakery,” a cottage industry during homeschooling days, and sold these to neighbors and friends. They freeze well after baking, so don’t be afraid to make the whole recipe
