Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts; chopped fine
  • 3 teaspoon Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, nuts, and cinnamon and set aside.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add flour mixture,
vanilla, and sour cream. Beat until smooth.

Pour half of batter in pan. Sprinkle half of nut mixture, then remaining
half of batter, and sprinkle remaining half of nuts on top. Bake one hour
at 350 °F.
