  • 2/3 *2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 *1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 *1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 *1/3 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 *1 package (18.25 ounces) butter recipe yellow cake mix (plus ingredients to make cake)
  • *Glaze*
  • 1 *1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3-4 *3-4 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 *1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat over to 325 degrees F. Spray bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. For cake, combine flour and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Cut in peanut butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in chopped peanuts.

2. Sprinkle half of the peanut butter mixture evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Carefully spoon half of the batter over peanut mixture in pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter mixture over batter in pan; cover with remaining batter.

3. Bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Loosen cake from sides and center tube of pan. Invert onto cooling rack; remove pan. Cool completely.

4. For glaze, combine powdered sugar, water and vanilla; whisk until smooth using whisk. Drizzle glaze over cake.
